Message from the CEO:

Dear Friends of Brazosport Regional:
Brazosport Regional Health System has come a long way in the 20-plus years since our establishment in Lake Jackson. We have seen tremendous growth and development in our facilities and service areas. We have attracted noted medical professionals to our hospital team, and have broken new ground in treatment options and community care initiatives.

However, we also have seen the hospital industry as a whole struggle with a tremendous increase in the overall costs of providing medical care. The cost of medical technology, pharmaceuticals and competitive clinical wages continues to grow exponentially. Our hospital facilities and the equipment required to support them need to be constantly revitalized and updated to ensure the finest in patient care. Managed care and our not-for-profit obligation to treat the ever-expanding number of uninsured have drastically eroded the hospital’s reimbursement.

In a word…we need your help.

Operational funds maintain the status quo, but that isn’t good enough
for us – or for our patients. We want the best treatment and diagnostic options available with which to serve our community. That’s why we must increasingly rely on philanthropic support to provide the advanced technological offerings and invaluable programs that are so critical to meeting the health care needs of our community.

Help us help our community by supporting the efforts of Brazosport Health Foundation –with your time, talents and financial support. Together, we can make a difference in our community and in the level
of health care we provide.
