Patricia A. Green

In January 2006, Ms. Green became the Executive Director of Brazosport Health Foundation. She brings a well-established, 25-year career in management, communications and fundraising to the position. Before joining BHF, Ms. Green worked as Director of Institutional Giving and Advocacy for Big Thought, a nationally-renowned nonprofit organization located in Dallas, Texas. During her tenure as a key fundraising executive for Big Thought, the contributed income rose 225%. Her strengths include strategic planning and staff development, but her greatest strength is stewardship – forging and maintaining relationships with donors.

Ms. Green has a passion for her work and is committed to serving the Brazosport community. She grew up in Jones Creek, graduated from Brazosport High School, and attended Brazosport College. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas and holds the designation of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).

Message from the Executive Director:

This is an important time for the Foundation. We are expanding our activities to help support vital improvements at Brazosport Regional Health System. Our hospital and its administrative and medical staff must be prepared to meet and exceed the needs of our community as it continues to evolve and grow.

We’re partnering with Brazosport Regional to expand initiatives
like The Mermaid Project, Bluebonnet Social Club and the Adelaide R. Thorpe Scholarship Fund. While we are embracing new strategies, you can rest assured that our purpose is unwavering. The Foundation will continue to raise funds that will help Brazosport Regional make a difference in the quality of health care for generations to come.

As a returning local, I already feel at home but I’m looking forward to making new friends and sharing my passion for taking care of the health needs of our citizens. I’m not just here to manage the Foundation – I’m here to serve you.

I am proud to be part of Brazosport Health Foundation because I believe that this hard-working, caring community deserves a strong medical infrastructure. Thanks to you, and others like you, the Foundation will be able to ensure the future of that infrastructure.
