The Adelaide R. Thorpe Scholarship application packet for the new RN program at Brazosport College is now available. Deadline for applications, references and transcripts is June 6, 2008.

This new scholarship is designed to pay for both books and tuition. The first scholarship recipient will be named in time to enroll in the inaugural class of the BC nursing program. The Foundation has established the Adelaide R. Thorpe Scholarship Fund to ensure long-term sustainability. Although one student will be selected this spring, the Scholarship Advisory Committee plans to increase the number of scholarships as the endowment grows.
